Since 2008, ESU has been owned and operated by the Bates family. They have been working with native Florida plants since 1976 to provide high-quality facilities for environmental restoration projects and the landscape industry. 

Chad Bates is known for his unbeatable customer service and has over 30 years of experience as a Master Naturalist. He is an ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment and Prescription Pruning qualifications. Along with his expertise in aquatic and natural areas he holds certifications as a commercial pesticide applicator. Under his leadership, ESU operates on the principle that client satisfaction always comes first.
